We will be speaking about scaling up permaculture to address food security, reforestation, and poverty alleviation. My father’s foundation has made a large commitment to bring statewide programs to alleviate poverty in Uttarakhand. We have decided to start with a pilot project this year in a few villages, and we intend to scale up significantly and evaluate the impacts it has on the quality of life in villages.
