Permaculture Teachers Sharing Event

18 - 21 September

An event for active permaculture teachers, or those that have already done a teacher training course. Come and share your top tips, favourite sessions, games and experience. Each person that signs up also takes responsibility for delivering / holding one session. A collaborative event hosted and held by Hannah Thorogood at her home, The Inkpot, an 18 acre permaculture demonstration centre.

Come and share 4 days with other permaculture teachers from around the world: share, discuss, play, learn, listen.

Who is this for?

Anyone who considers themselves to be a permaculture teacher, having either (any) experience of teaching or has completed a permaculture teacher training course. All welcome, from any country, background, specialism within Permaculture etc.

Location

We have good basic facilities for a camping venue with a marquee as a classroom base, but a range of veg garden, forest garden, trees and grazing systems to use as learning spaces too.

We have comfy and beautiful compost toilets and hot showers, indoor dining space and an office / library with wifi access, a trampoline and often beautiful sunsets!

Costs

We believe that money should never be a barrier to education. We have worked to keep these costs as low as realistically possible, whilst still valuing those working to feed, convene and host you.

We have calculated 3 layers of payment, you can choose which layer you pay, however please be aware that there will only be as many 'skint but willing' places as there are 'generous benefactor' places. So if you do feel comfortable financially, even the Generous Benefactor rate is a very good price for 4 full days of fully catered, camping included, access to some of the best permaculture educators in the world (that's you by the way).

Generous Benefactor: £300
Pillar of the Community: £225
Skint but willing £150

If even the Skint but willing rate is out of your range of possibility, then please do get in touch as we are open to possible exchanges etc.
