Sharing ideas with fellow urban permaculturalists
Marlborough is a small market town, nestling in the Wiltshire Downs. We'd love to show you what three years of transition and urban permaculture has done for our town. Since Marlborough is just a bike ride from the World Heritage site at Avebury we have included a visit to the Neolithic Stone Circle and Kennet Long Barrow in the tour. Visits to Shumei Natural Farm, a foraging walk and energy-efficient houseboats on the Kennet-Avon canal, are also planned.
We'll pick you up from Bedwyn train station; bed, breakfast and lunch will be provided by local permaculturalists who live in and around the town. You will be returned to Bedwyn station at the end of the event.
*participants must be over 18 years.
