Permaculture Teachers Training Course: An Advanced Course on Holistic Facilitation
Tutors will share a range of teaching techniques, strategies, skills and approaches, when working with learners of varied backgrounds, in a wide range of educational settings. We will apply the universal principles of Permaculture to the actual teaching of Permaculture. Within this dynamic and fun learning environment, you will have the opportunity for supported hands-on teaching practice utilising a range of diverse teaching modalities; eg giving lecture-style presentations, facilitating groupwork, guiding practical sessions, and working with interactive teaching toolkits.
The techniques learned enrich oneself to become an empowered, dynamic, and effective educator. This translates to any teaching field whether it be PDC's or short courses on the myriad of topics that encompass Permaculture.
This course is for Permaculture design course graduates who want to develop their skills as holistic educators and take steps towards leading courses internationally.
Facilitators: Robina McCurdy (New Zealand) and Doug Crouch with guest speakers
This dynamic and interactive course offers comprehensive and powerful teaching methodology distilled from Robina’s 25 years of teaching experience in 10 different countries in Permaculture and Community Development.
